August 26, 2009...The Clarence G. Glenn Sleep Center at Decatur Memorial Hospital has been reaccredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM). AASM accreditation is the gold standard by which the medical community and the public can evaluate the services provided by a sleep center. Decatur Memorial Hospital is one of 1,000 accredited centers in the United States. The AASM develops evidence-based practice parameters and other standards as benchmarks for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. These professional standards promote consistency and excellence in sleep-related health care.
The Dr. Clarence G. Glenn Sleep Center at Decatur Memorial Hospital is an accredited sleep lab that performs sleep studies for a variety of sleep disorders.
