** WHAT: Antelope Valley Hospital (AVH) Community Health Education Lecture
Series presents “Memory—How it Works” presented by Vijay
Shanmugam, M.D., neurologist on staff with Antelope Valley Hospital.
Dr. Shanmugam will be discussing the anatomy of memory along with
common diseases that effect memory. He will present options for
treating memory loss along with the latest information available on
Alzheimer’s disease.

on a variety of current health issues. Attendees will also have the
opportunity to meet and talk with the AVH physicians who treat these
conditions every day.
All lectures will be held on select Thursdays of each month.
