Burnaby Hospital Foundation is the philanthropic arm of Burnaby Hospital. The Foundation raises financial resources needed for innovative health care equipment, state-of-the-art technology, capital projects and educational outreach. Established in 1982, the Foundation has raised over $24 million from over 68,000 donors.
As the official charitable organization for Burnaby Hospital, the Foundation works in close partnership with the hospital to fund the highest priority needs. The Foundation's role is to inspire, motivate, and link donor and community support to invest in Burnaby Hospital. Through a donor-centred approach, the Foundation raises funds to:
Purchase state-of-the-art medical, surgical and diagnostic equipment;
Advance the education of hospital professionals to help improve effectiveness, efficiency and quality of patient care; and
Provide inspiration, leadership and options for those wishing to support Burnaby Hospital.
Every dollar donated to the Foundation stays at Burnaby Hospital.
