About Oldfield Surgery

Oldfield Surgery is a modern purpose-built general medical practice with wheel-chair access. The six partners deliver a wide range of medical services to patients from a large part of the City of Bath, and some of the outlying villages to the south-west, including Newton St. Loe, Englishcombe, Southstoke, Combe Hay, Corston, Priston and Midford.

However, due to traffic problems, we regret that we are unable to accept patients where calls to their homes require passing the traffic lights on the A4/A46 junction. For further details, please enquire at reception.

The practice provides a wide range of services, including nursing services, maternity care, contraceptive advice, minor surgical procedures and counselling.

There is a strong emphasis on preventive medicine and health promotion, reflected in the provision of clinics for Blood Pressure Control, Diabetes, Asthma, Coronary Heart Disease, Support to Stop Smoking, Travel Advice, Children's Immunisations and Cervical Smears.
