** About Us **
Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) is part of the NHS. We provide a range of health and wellbeing services, mainly for people living in the city of Leicester and the neighbouring counties of Leicestershire and Rutland. We serve a population of one million and have a budget in excess of £250 million and employ almost around 6,000 staff.
The organisation was created in 2002 to provide mental health, learning disability and substance misuse services. In April 2011, to enable us to provide a more holistic total healthcare package, we merged with Leicester City Community Health Services and Leicestershire County and Rutland Community Health Services, two NHS organisations which provide physical healthcare services in the community.
