The Queen Elizabeth II hospital – or the QEII as it is known locally, is located in Welwyn Garden City.
The first full hospital to be built by the NHS, the QEII is a 350-bed district general hospital. It offers a full range of general hospital services for people living and working in many parts of east and south Hertfordshire.
Our general surgical and medical wards are supported by intensive care, high dependency and coronary care units, as well as full pathology and diagnostic services – including gastrointestinal endoscopy and bronchoscopy.
