We have over 9,000 staff delivering healthcare across Frenchay and Southmead Hospitals and within the local community of Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
** Our Vision **
North Bristol NHS Trust provides hospital and community healthcare to the residents of Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset and we are also a specialist regional centre for neurosciences, plastics and burns, orthopaedics and renal services.
We're also the largest hospital teaching Trust in the South West with links to the University of Bristol, University of Bath and the University of the West of England and we're committed to developing our staff by offering them learning and research opportunities that will improve the care and services we offer our patients. We have also strengthened our research portfolio over the last year, with around 500 staff involved in 400 separate research projects across the Trust.Across our hospitals in Southmead and Frenchay, and our local community work through school nurses, health visitors and therapists, the delivery of exceptional healthcare that is welcoming, open, honest and in partnership with our patients and carers.
Already 93% of our patients are very happy with the care they receive from us and every year over 6,000 patients and carers make the time to write us a compliment letter thanking us for the care and attention they received.
