| Endocrinologist Joins DCH Visiting Specialists |

Dallas County Hospital is pleased to announce that Diana Wright, MD, FACP, FACE, an Endocrinologist and Diabetes Specialist with the Iowa Diabetes and Endocrinology Center in Des Moines, has joined Dallas County Hospital’s team of visiting specialists. Dr. Wright will hold her first specialty clinic at Dallas County Hospital in Perry on Thursday, November 6, 2008. DIABETIC SUPPORT GROUP TO MEET IN NOVEMBER:
Statistics show that 60 to 70 percent of people with diabetes have some form or Neuropathy. But what are the signs, how is it diagnosed and what are the treatments? These questions and more will be answered at the Perry Area Diabetic Support Group meeting being held on November 6, 2008 at 7:00 pm in the Dallas County Hospital community room. Teresa White, PTA, will be presenting on Diabetes and Neuropathy and will also introduce exercises that can be performed to help alleviate the pain associated with this condition. Additionally, please be aware that this will be the final Diabetic Support Group Meeting for the year. The next meeting will be held on February 5, 2009.
