If you would like to build good working relations with a highly motivated multidisciplinary team, have willingness and ability to lead and develop a service and build effective working relationships on an individual and multiprofessional basis, coming to West Dorset could be for you.
The DCH Foundation Trust provides excellent facilities to a large rural population of 220,000 and for the past two years has been a three star trust. Housing 500 beds, Dorset County Hospital is a new hospital located in Dorchester, which is within an area of outstanding natural beauty. There are excellent recreational facilities and it is a popular family holiday destination. Good educational facilities are available in both the public and private sectors. Providing a comprehensive service for the population of West Dorset, you would be involved in developing and delivering the service for this part of the county.
Yeovil District Hospital Foundation Trust has 322 beds and serves a population of 180,000 in South Somerset and North Dorset.
