BIOMEDICAL SCIENTIST/SPECIALIST BIOMEDICAL SCIENTIST (HISTOLOGY)
SALARY RANGE: £20,710 - £26,839 per annum (Band 5) /£24,831 - £33,436 per annum

The department has conditional CPA accreditation status and is approved as a training laboratory and has close educational links with the Universities of Sheffield and Nottingham.
We are currently looking for an Histopathology qualified State Registered Biomedical Scientist or Specialist Biomedical Scientist to join our busy team in our modern department.
Rotating through all areas of the laboratory, you will assist in all general duties as well as participating in a wide range of investigations including routine Histology, cutup, Immunohistochemistry and special staining.
The department is fully computerised with the iSOFT ilab system. A flexible approach to working is essential. You should possess excellent communication and time management skills and have a systematic approach to your work.
CPD is actively encouraged and funding for further postgraduate study is available.
