Buddha Nursing Home is located at the heart of scenic Manichira, just 500 ms away from the National Highway, near the Sulthan Bathery Town in Wayanad District of Kerala. The Nursing home was started in March 2007 as the newest endeavour of the Kozhikode Ayurvedic Pharmacy in Sulthan Bathery.

Patients in growing numbers from Wayanad as well as the adjacent districts have come seeking our services and medicines. This unprecedented rise in demand for consultation, treatment and medicines have made us establish Buddha Nursing home where Ayurvedic treatment is done in the most authentic way under the supervision of experts in Ayurveda.
Buddha Nursing Home is the brain child of Dr. V. Sathianandan Nair D.A. M, a renowned Ayurvedic physician. He has been instrumental in many of the treatments conducted in the Nursing Home. The treatments are decided after detailed consultation and discussion between doctors. Special significance is given to Marma Chikitsa and Panchakarma Chikitsa. Treatment of Geriatric diseases has been given special importance here and the environment necessary has been provided. Ayurveda has many treatments dedicated to Orthopaedics and this has been provided here in the traditional way.
