Archana Hospital was established in 1978 Vannappuram, Idukki District, Kerala State. The Hospital was situated in rural area of High-range one of the most backward area. Major population in this area is tribal, middle class people and plantation workers. Hospital started with 50 beds and causality service.
After 20 years sincere and fruitful service to the people. The ownership of the hospital constructed 250 multispecialty hospital in hospital junction Vannappuram. In march 2009 Archana Hospital has moved all its activities to the current building in Paingottoor. The change of location was something which the hospital was planning for quiet some time and it was mainly for future development. As far as Archana Hospital is concerned though it has moved from one town to near by town. Everything is in the same apart from the location , ownership, management, staff and all the infrastructure is same or better than which they were having at the old location. This 50 bedded general Hospital having well equipped causality, minor OT and Automated Medical Lab.
